High Quality Images

As an expert in imaging technology, the RDM EC7500i produces high quality binary image results of 200 dpi that are fully compliant with industry standards. Users can also configure this scanner to perform single or double-sided cheque scanning.

Multiple Payment Features

RDM EC7500i is equipped with multiple scanning functions, such as an optional 3-track bi-directional magnetic strip reader to read magnetic cards and accommodate various types of bill payments, such as bank cards and internal alphanumeric OCR A and B character reader on the OCR bills via application control, which is used for automation of bill payment.

Easy Connectivity

RDM EC7500i comes with USB 2.0 connectivity for flexible linking to PC-based applications. Cheque images automatically appear on the PC screen when connected and can be saved for archival. When integrated with SMARTCHEQUEENTRY™, an automatic data entry solution and/or SMARTARCHIVE™, an archival and retrieval solution for outward clearing, RDM EC7500i facilitates easier and faster electronic data transfer of cheques for clearing purposes.

Progressive MICR Method

RDM EC7500i is equipped with an optional OCR E13B MICR Assist. It applies optical character recognition to read problematic MICR characters and symbols with a virtually 100% read rate.

Franking Acknowledgement and Thermal Receipt Printer

RDM EC7500i not only comes with a thermal printer for printing transaction receipts, but also an optional Franking Acknowledgement printer (endorser), which allows you to stamp a “Electronically Presented” fixed text message in red on the face of the cheque.
