PowerShuttle® Technology

Ergotron’s patented PowerShuttle® Technology accommodates an efficient charging system by optimizing total charge time for each device automatically. It safely prevents overloading electrical circuits by efficiently grouping the number of devices that are charged at one time with all charging status indicated in an LED monitor screem.

How Does PowerShuttle® Technology work?

When the cart is plugged in, the system automatically evaluate the current draw of the external outlet and the power strips inside the cart (5 devices per zone) then save the number. Maximum wall current is 12A for 100-120V countries and 8A for 220-240V countries. Then, PowerShuttle will deduct the current for the always-on devices (auxiliary outlets) from the maximum wall current to leave only the remaining amount of current available for the power strips. Consequently, PowerShuttle will group the power strips in the minimum number of groups to avoid charging exceeds the maximum wall current.

This mobile charging cart for any device is specially designed to be compatible with a wide variety of manufacturers such as Microsoft, Samsung, Apple, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus and Acer, thus it comes with open-architecture concept to work with up to 30 tablet and two country-specific 15-outlet power strips to plug-in up to 30 AC adapters in a variety of brick and plug styles.

PowerShuttle® Charging Cart has the entire cart, including the power system and cart mechanics, tested and certified to UL 60950 and 1668 standards to ensure a safe IT equipment.

Secure yet Accessible Storage

To provide a safe and secure storage for your devices, this mobile charging unit is equipped with double- hinged, locking steel front doors using robust key and lock assembly. The door open 180° with recessed handle to give access to the notebook storage shelves. In addition, to avoid over-heating, this affordable cart also provides ventilation on side panels, the front doors, and the rear door as well as 12V DC continuous operating fan on the top compartment.
