Dual Viewing Area

Depending on the position of a banknote, the device chooses the required operation mode automatically. The DORS 1170 multi-currency counterfeit detector is equipped with a dual viewing area:

1. IR visual camera which is located above the screen for general viewing where it is able to capture a large area. This IR visual camera not only allows you to examine a full-sized infrared image of a banknote, or several banknotes at a time, but also to verify large security printing documents of up to A4 size.
2. 10x magnification IR & UV visual camera on the slot (zoom) area to capture IR marks (presence, arrangement, and quality), UV features (marks, fibres, threads, or image fragments), intaglio features (the transparent relief printing on banknotes), micro-printing and micro-images, for precise inspection results of banknotes once a banknote is inserted into the slot of the counterfeit detector.

Multi-function Control Button 

The DORS 1170 counterfeit detector offers you convenience with a multi-function control button. This control button allows the user to change the operating mode according to their needs. When a banknote is inserted into the slot area, the user can switch modes between intaglio, IR, and UV with 10x magnifications by pressing the control button.

Wide Coloured LCD Display

The DORS 1170 counterfeit detection machine comes with a 7” (inch) coloured TFT LCD display. The screen automatically displays an image of IR, UV and Intaglio feature once the banknote is placed on the slot (zoom) area. Furthermore, the banknote image from the DORS 1170 counterfeit detector can be displayed on a PC monitor and can be saved as a digital image or video file.
